We took pictures of suspicious vehicles parked around the STBDA site and kept them for a week. The reason is that the Tacoma City government has banned the check-up of vehicle homeless people and driving them out of the workplace. For this reason, thieves are more active. They disguise themselves as vehicle homeless to break into business and steal items.
This is an email from the STBDA president.
We located the vehicle and trailer in the picture the next day. It was parked just north of us on Washington street parked behind a derelict motor home and trailer. The suspect vehicle and trailer were empty but under a tarp next to the motor home we found some of our stolen equipment as well as in the trailer hooked to the motor home. Police were called several times and after about 90 minutes they showed up and we were able to retrieve our stolen equipment. We did not get all of it back but we did get the majority.
Thank you for providing the picture of the vehicle and trailer.
